QAgroTrust
QAgroTrust™ Governance

Governance & Oversight Structure

QAgroTrust operates under tri-partite governance: farming cooperatives set agronomic standards, certifiers validate compliance, NRDC oversight ensures market integrity.

Platform Governance

Steering Committee: IS360 Technologies (tech), Indian Institute of Millet Research — IIMR (agronomic standards), NRDC (funding & oversight), FPO representatives (farmer voice). Meets quarterly to set rules, approve new crops, audit cert accuracy.

Role: Ensure platform integrity. No conflicts of interest. Third-party certifiers sign off on all batches. Farmer data rights protected by contract.

Certifier Accreditation

Certifiers must be IIMR-approved and insurance-bonded (minimum ₹5 lakh). Annual audit of certifier decisions. Conflicts of interest strictly forbidden (no certifier owns a farm, buys from certifier's own farm, or accepts kickbacks).

Appeal Process: Farmer can dispute cert denial via IIMR review committee. Certifier liable for false certifications (breach of bond).

Data & Privacy

Farm data belongs to farmer. IS360 has no right to sell or commercialize without explicit consent. NPK values, soil tests, harvest dates—all farmer property. Personal data (name, address, phone) GDPR-compliant: encrypted, access-logged, deletable on request.

Blockchain Auditability

Every certification, batch transition, and quality test written to blockchain ledger. Immutable record. Farmer can export full audit trail. NRDC has read-only ledger access for oversight audits. No retroactive deletion or tampering.
